The information is not kept up to date and in not accurate. So it is only a good idea.wasted. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. The BM recall list is a good idea, but it does not work. On the up side of that, if you do have to send it in, you not only got a good deal on the price, but hopefully Bushmaster will address all the issues that have been found and you won't have any of the problems that others have had. So make sure you check the serial number before you buy unless you don't mind sending it in.

I then ran them through Bushmasters S/N check and found that a some were still on the recall list. On a whim, I started checking the serial numbers I could see from some of them. I started noticing a big diference in prices on 'NIB' ACRs on some of the online auctions. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

(It is not a wide spread problem) Only way to know is take her to the range, get her dirty. The newer piston spring is for certain copies that are a little over gassed and have issues with 5.56 ammo. The regulator change is mostly for firing suppressed. The upper was also stamped as Dallas.Sweet and welcome to the forum.

I have yet to call BM to further investigate what has been done. It appears to have the new spring and firing pin but the old regulator and spring. BTW, welcome to the forum!! I just bought a bk enhanced model s/n ACR0008X. (not available for purchase) The have been a handful of changes to the ACR to include Exhaust hole for the gas regulator was change on the 's' side Firing pin and spring was updated (recall) Stronger Piston spring (uses squared off spring instead of round) There is a thread somewhere on the forum that has pictures of the different regulators and piston springs. 2nd gen ACRs are only in the prototype / field test copies and only available from Remington Defense. I have BL04454 am i a 2nd gen or 1st gen?You have a 1st gen.
